Description:
Duties:
- Responsible for supporting the company's security infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, remote access servers, intrusion detection system and anti-virus tools
- Perform Daily Network Operation activities such as network problem restoration, network capacity monitoring and proactive network (alert) monitoring |
Skills:
Requirements:
- Degree in IT related studies and with at least 4 years technical experience; less experience will be considered as Security Engineer
- Holder of CISSP, CCSE, CCSA and/or other vendor certifications is preferable
- At least 3 years hands-on experience on technical platform support on different operating systems;
- Familiar with Windows NT / 2000, Unix (preferably hands-on expert user for UNIX from vendors like HP, Linux, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX), TCP/IP networking, network device configuration, installation of security devices or software
- Hands-on experience on firewall, intrusion detection software, anti-virus software, VPN, LAN/WAN, security appliances and host security is an added advantage
- Good written and spoken English
