Description:
Database Administrator
Duties:
-Responsible for migration of Oracle database to Unix, enhancement of database structure and enrichment of analytical functions to integrate with a new online ordering system.
-System development and maintenance to existing database system
-Carry out maintenance of the Oracle database; associated customized applications and systems in AIX and Window 2003.
-Prepare system documentation, training manuals and user manuals
-Conduct operation and disaster recovery drill
-Conduct training to end users

Skills:
Requirements:
-University degree holder in Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines
-Certification of OCP or MCDBA is preferable
-2-4 years experience of Oracle database administration and administration of SQL Server, DB2, Sybase or mySQL, Red Hat Advance Server
-Hands-on experience of RAC and Data Guard
-Independent, proactive, analytical and good interpersonal and presentation skills,
-Experience of Oracle database in HP UNIX, IBM AIX, Oracle and SAN
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-Good command in spoken and written English and Putonghua
-Self-motivated, well-organized and independent
-Familiar with SSADM & PRINCE is preferred
